What goes around comes around. Could we be seeing the beginnings of this karmic principle in application to corrupt politicians and war mongers? Here are some examples:
First, Israel isn't getting away with murder in Gaza. My wife pointed out an article in the Guardian which talks about the gaze of justice on Israel's infractions in Gaza and the possibility of prosecution for war crimes. The article, Israel and the White Heat of Justice, is worth a read.
Second, and this is a long time in coming, the Bush administration is coming under serious legal scrutiny and may finally face justice. One article points out the likelihood that people in the Bush administration, if not the president and the vice president themselves, are vulnerable and exposed to the rule of law. The world is watching to see what Americans do and, fortunately, it seems that top democrats are serious about investigating Bush's criminal acts. Now, if they actually prosecute and convict is another story.
